Basement Project 1
Through the use of drywall, a chair rail molding and two-tone color scheme, a dank, paneled 1970s basement received an economical touch of class. Laminate flooring was used to insulate and brighten the concrete floor. Dimmable indirect lighting provides an understated mood for TV watching while careful detail in the custom made bookshelves keeps the fireplace the focal point. A small, white door (top picture) allows access to a children's under stairs clubhouse.
